As our Volunteer Coordinator, you will develop, implement, and evaluate volunteer program goals and objectives to ensure alignment with our organization’s mission. You will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and current volunteers, managing everything from the full recruitment cycle—including screening, interviewing, and onboarding—to the ongoing supervision and maintenance of our volunteer recognition program.
Each day, you will oversee the daily operations of the Volunteer Services Office, collaborating with department leaders to assess service needs and managing volunteer schedules across clinical and ancillary departments. Your responsibilities include ensuring proper compliance with regulatory requirements, keeping volunteers informed through regular updates, and reinforcing organizational policies, safety protocols, and core values.
To excel, you must demonstrate strong judgment, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining professional communication with staff, volunteers, and external partners. You are required to possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills, the experience to speak effectively before groups, and the ability to type at least 45 wpm to successfully manage our program operations
