Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.

Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.

To be successful in this role, you must deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

  • Responsible to perform quality procedures using the appropriate CT department routines.
  • Must be able to perform all examinations using all the CT equipment.
  • Selects and uses proper immobilization and supportive devices when necessary.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the anatomy associated with each exam.
  • Participates in PDCA quality improvements for the Imaging Department.
  • Performs exams in a timely manner so patient care is expedited as quickly as possible for turn around time.

Job Requirements

Required

  • 1 year acute hospital imaging procedures 
  • Medical Radiographer: CA
  • Basic Life Support - CPR
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT


Preferred

  • 1 - 2 years CT experience
  • Expanded IV Therapy Course
  • Registered Technologist Computed Tomography
