As our CNA/Telemetry Tech/Nursing Unit Secretary, you will serve as a vital link in our clinical team, providing essential patient care and technical support under the direction of an RN. You will play a key role in ensuring unit efficiency by balancing direct patient assistance with specialized telemetry monitoring and administrative coordination in a high-demand hospital environment.
Every day you will perform continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring, interpret ECG strips, and promptly report critical changes or arrhythmias to the nursing staff. Your responsibilities include providing patient comfort and hygiene, documenting vital signs and intake/output, managing unit clerical logs, maintaining telemetry equipment, and ensuring all patient information is accurately reconciled within our electronic records systems.
To be successful in this role, you will be a certified CNA with at least six months of clinical experience and a strong working knowledge of telemetry monitoring. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional who can thrive under pressure, manage multiple clinical priorities, and demonstrate clear communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
