The IT Investment Portfolio Manager at CommonSpirit Health is a strategic and critical role that holds a pivotal position in overseeing, guiding, and optimizing multiple programs within a defined IT portfolio, ensuring their collective alignment with CommonSpirit's overarching mission, strategic goals, and financial objectives.
While not directly responsible for project delivery, this role provides comprehensive portfolio-level oversight, focusing on the strategic health and successful progression of all constituent programs and their projects. The Portfolio Manager is instrumental in guiding programs to ensure adherence to standard processes and methodologies, advising on actions related to risk and issue management, and effectively controlling constraints across the portfolio.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of work flows, implementation time lines, and in-depth project management philosophy and practical experience.

Educatio and Experience
8+ years of progressive experience in IT portfolio management, program management, or senior project management roles within a complex organization.
Proven track record of managing large, complex IT portfolios with significant financial impact.
Significant experience using and optimizing Project Management tools i.e. ServiceNow, Planview, MS Project, or other equivalent.
