Founded in 1955, Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a 394-bed, acute-care, nonprofit hospital. Serving over 80,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including a Level II Trauma Center, heart care, cancer care and women’s health. It is the only pediatric trauma center in the San Fernando Valley.
Additionally, Northridge Hospital Medical Center has been recognized as an LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality High Performer by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. It is a Joint Commission-certified Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center and has been recognized as one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades in 2026.
As our Chief Philanthropy Officer, you will serve on the executive Senior Leadership Group (SLG) and oversee the affiliated fundraising foundations in various States, including direct supervision of the newly formed system-wide Health Foundation.
Every day, you will carry broad responsibilities for providing strategic vision, policy development, leadership, and direction to ensure philanthropic support of programs, services, and the philanthropic activities of member hospitals. You will actively engage senior leadership, foundation executives and staff, board members, and other key stakeholders in the fundraising process, signaling a significant change in the importance and utility of philanthropy and private support.
To be successful in this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing policy and programs that will produce increasing levels of support across our network of hospitals and foundations
