Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Endoscopy Tech, you will provide crucial technical support during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficiency.

Every day you will meticulously prepare, maintain, and sterile process endoscopy equipment, assist physicians during procedures, and prepare rooms while maintaining accurate documentation.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate strong technical proficiency, meticulous attention to detail in sterile processing, and collaborative skills in a fast-paced clinical setting, contributing to positive patient outcomes.

  • Patient Assessment/Observation: Under the direct supervision or the RN will participate in the continuous collection of data of the Endoscopy patient.
  • Implementation of Care: Implements the plan of care under the direction of the RN
  • Planning: Collaborates with the development of the patients plan of care under the direction of the RN.
  • Evaluation: Under the direction of the RN, participates in evaluating and documenting the patients response to nursing/medical intervention
  • Professional Development: Recognizes his/her own learning needs and those of peers, and assist in meeting those needs to maximize professional development and optimal Endoscopy practice.
  • Leadership: Demonstrates an awareness of his/her responsibilities to be a role model for peers and team members.




Job Requirements

Required

  • High School Graduate or GED
  • 2 years of Previous Endoscopy Tech experience
  • AHA Basic Life Support - CPR
