Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist, you will be a vital member of the Imaging Services team at Community Memorial Hospital, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging to support precise diagnosis and patient treatment. You will work under the direction of physicians to perform a wide range of procedures—including radiography, CT, and interventional support—while ensuring every patient receives compassionate, ethical, and safe care. This role is perfect for a skilled professional dedicated to excellence in clinical imaging and committed to upholding the rigorous safety and quality standards that define our healthcare facility.

Every day you will perform complex diagnostic imaging, manage equipment preparation, and maintain sterile fields for invasive procedures. You will be responsible for assessing patient history, ensuring informed consent, and verifying that all imaging meets ACR quality requirements and radiation safety protocols, such as "Image Gently" and "Image Wisely." Your daily routine will involve balancing technical precision with empathetic patient education, documenting accurate clinical data, and reporting any equipment malfunctions to ensure our department maintains the highest standard of operational readiness and safety.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a detail-oriented technologist who excels in fast-paced environments, possesses strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration, and demonstrates a proactive approach to quality improvement. Your ability to maintain focus under pressure, effectively prioritize multiple patient needs, and adhere strictly to HIPAA and radiation safety regulations will make you an invaluable asset to our radiology team.

  • Diagnostic Imaging Performance: Perform a wide range of high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures (including radiography, CT, and interventional support) while exercising professional judgment and maintaining strict adherence to medical ethics.
  • Patient Safety & Radiation Protection: Execute all imaging protocols in strict compliance with safety standards, including "Image Gently," "Image Wisely," and MR safety guidelines, while maintaining a sterile environment and using proper shielding.
  • Clinical Preparation & Documentation: Conduct thorough patient assessments, verify informed consent, and maintain precise clinical documentation to assist physicians in accurate image interpretation and future patient care.
  • Equipment Quality & Maintenance: Ensure all imaging equipment is in optimal working order through routine performance testing and daily quality assessments, promptly reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns to leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance: Maintain a high standard of professional communication while adhering to all HIPAA, ACR, and institutional policies, ensuring confidential and compliant patient care within a fast-paced environment.

We are offering up to $10,000 as a Sign-on Bonus as well as up to $10,000 in Educational Assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
