Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Physical Therapy Tech, you will assist licensed therapists in providing therapeutic care and support to patients undergoing rehabilitation.

Every day you will prepare treatment areas, help patients with exercises and mobility, manage equipment, and maintain a safe and organized clinical environment as delegated.

To be successful, you will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting patient progress and therapist needs within the rehabilitation setting.  This is a perfect opportunity if you are interested in growing your career in the physical therapy field. 

  • Prepares patients for treatment and participates/assists in patient treatment while demonstrating respect towards patients, family members and care givers
  • Maintains a basic knowledge of how to set up and use equipment
  • Communicates effectively and respectfully

Job Requirements

Required

  • Previous experience working in a patient care environment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate

Preferred

 

  • Acute care setting and/or exercise field experience
  • Degree or certificate in a related field of study
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
