Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you’ll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team. You’ll take the lead on proactive preparation of patient charts; ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility.

Every day, you'll manage care for multiple patients, adapting to physician availability on-site, and actively collaborate with your clinical team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic.

  • Prepare and room patients for practitioner visits by obtaining and documenting vital signs, medications, allergies, presenting concerns, and other relevant information while maintaining patient privacy and comfort.
  • Provide patient care and clinical support within scope of licensure, including assessments, diagnostic testing, wound care, specimen collection, mobility assistance, and routine nursing procedures.
  • Perform point-of-care and laboratory testing, including venipuncture and specimen collection, following established protocols and accurately documenting results.
  • Administer medications, vaccines, treatments, and IV fluids as ordered and within scope, while maintaining medication records and controlled-substance inventories.
  • Manage patient communication and clinical documentation, including telephone triage, prescription refills, patient education, provider messages, orders, and follow-up instructions.
  • Maintain efficient clinic operations by coordinating patient flow, preparing and stocking exam rooms, cleaning and sterilizing equipment, and ensuring supplies and instruments are ready for patient care.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing., upon hire and
  • Licensed Practical Nurse: WA, upon hire and
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire


Preferred

  • Two years of acute care LPN work experience
