As our Nutrition Assistant I, you will participate in and support all aspects of healthcare foodservice operations. You will play an integral role in ensuring that our food service processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Every day, you will work alongside facility staff to provide optimal nutritional care to our patients. Your contributions will help ensure that we meet the dietary and wellness needs of those we serve.

Follow healthcare foodservice industry standards and regulations, including monitoring food temperatures, preventing cross-contamination, and adhering to strict personal hygiene and sanitation requirements.
Maintain proper labeling and storage protocols for all food products, equipment, and machinery in accordance with facility guidelines.
Prepare and serve food based on menu and dietary requirements, utilizing necessary kitchen equipment while remaining knowledgeable of ingredients to address food allergy requests.
Ensure a high-quality customer experience by following organizational standards for proper meal portioning and aesthetically pleasing presentation.
Perform essential operational tasks, including cashiering, retail service, cold food preparation, and the assembly, delivery, and retrieval of patient trays.
Complete necessary utility and maintenance assignments, such as dishwashing, catering support, inventory management, and general cleaning of equipment and work areas.
