Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Supervisor of Surgical Services, you will provide expert leadership and strategic oversight, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of high-quality patient care within the operating room and related surgical areas.

Every day you will expertly manage daily surgical schedules, lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, optimize workflow processes, and meticulously maintain sterile environments and compliance with all surgical standards and regulatory requirements.

To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding clinical knowledge in surgical practice, strong leadership skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented demeanor, contributing significantly to positive surgical outcomes and excellent patient experiences.

 

Job Requirements

Required

  • A minimum of three years clinical nursing experience in an Operating Room as an Operating Room Nurse with at least 2 years in the clinical OR service and
  • Experience with performance management and assisted with orientation of staff and
  • Has experience investigating problems and provides solutions within the framework of best practice and nursing process and
  • Registered Nurse: AR, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days


Preferred

  • Previous OR charge or supervisory experience
