Founded in 1958, Dignity Health - Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital is a 104-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in Grass Valley, California. Serving over 80,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including heart care, cancer care, women’s health, and neurology. As our Facilities Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment that supports our operational excellence. You will directly contribute to the optimal functioning of our infrastructure and systems.
Every day you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of our facilities, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. You will be expected to conduct regular inspections, manage vendor relationships, coordinate projects, and respond to facility-related issues, ensuring compliance with relevant safety and building codes.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong problem-solving skills, a comprehensive understanding of building systems and infrastructure, and proven experience in facilities management or engineering.
