As our System Manager, Labor Relations, you will lead and manage projects for which the Employee & Labor Relations team is responsible. These projects may be related to bargaining activities, system-wide initiatives, and other assignments requiring the organization and synthesis of large volumes of information, as well as the analytical ability to assess the data and make recommendations for how best to address and ultimately implement and operationalize.
Every day, this position requires an understanding of the obstacles and challenges associated with implementing changes in a union environment, and an ability to navigate these challenges effectively. You will support bargaining activities including preparatory research and planning; manage and facilitate responses to information requests; provide computer and other technical expertise; and generate needed reports and presentations.
To be successful in your role, you will strategically lead and manage complex labor relations projects, specializing in navigating the challenges of a unionized environment to implement systemic changes effectively. You will demonstrate exceptional analytical skills in synthesizing vast amounts of information, formulating actionable recommendations, and providing comprehensive support for bargaining activities, thereby ensuring the seamless operationalization of initiatives across the organization.
