Clinical Educator RN

The Chattanooga Heart Institute offers the most comprehensive cardiac care available in this region. Founded in 1976, we now have six offices in Tennessee and one in Georgia. Our practice is made up of 29 board-certified cardiologists and three cardiothoracic surgeons. We merged with CHI Memorial Health Care System in 2011 which is part of CommonSpirit Health. As our Clinical Educator RN, you will be a pivotal leader, empowering our nursing teams with cutting-edge knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional patient care across various clinical settings.

Every day, you will design, implement, and evaluate dynamic educational programs, mentor frontline nurses, and integrate best practices to ensure the highest standards of professional nursing. You'll drive continuous clinical excellence, fostering a culture of learning and innovation throughout our organization.

• Onboarding for all Clinical Staff at all locations.
• Maintain, monitor and schedule BLS for staff.
• Coordinate and schedule clinical educational in services at all locations.
• Perform 90 day and annual skills competency check offs.
• Perform and report chart audits (to include but not limited to: all tasks, patient intake documentation, medication refills, nurse messages, nurse notes, PAQ timeliness.)
• Develop training manuals for EMR.

Required

• Graduate from an accredited RN program and 2-5 years of cardiac experience, upon hire
• Registered Nurse: TN, upon hire and
