Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Regional Director, Asset Management, you will serve as the senior strategic lead for CommonSpirit’s non-acute and ambulatory real estate portfolio. In this high-impact leadership role, you will oversee a diverse collection of medical office buildings (MOBs) and outpatient facilities, setting the vision for regional asset performance. By directing a high-performing team of Regional Asset Managers, you will ensure that our real estate footprint not only meets rigorous financial standards but also directly supports our broader mission of delivering exceptional, patient-centered healthcare across the region.

Every day you will manage the intersection of financial performance and operational excellence, taking full ownership of regional NOI, occupancy rates, and operating expense variances. You will interface with cross-functional leadership—including finance, facilities, and clinical operations—to drive capital planning and facility lifecycle management. Whether you are identifying underperforming assets, negotiating complex lease economics, or overseeing annual budgeting processes, your daily focus will be on maximizing portfolio value while maintaining the integrity and sustainability of our healthcare infrastructure.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a sophisticated understanding of commercial real estate asset management with a track record of driving fiscal efficiency in large-scale portfolios. You will be a decisive leader, comfortable navigating C-suite relationships and translating complex real estate data into actionable executive insights. Your expertise in standardizing workflows, managing risk, and championing operational excellence will be essential in shaping a resilient real estate strategy that aligns with the long-term growth and sustainability goals of CommonSpirit Health.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Regional Asset Managers to meet and exceed individual and portfolio performance goals.
  • Direct the full lifecycle of financial management, including annual budgeting, variance reporting, and the identification of remediation strategies for underperforming assets.
  • Oversee lease economics and provide strategic approvals on letters of intent, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and lease compliance.
  • Standardize regional policies, process workflows, and space management data integrity to drive operational efficiency and cost savings.
  • Partner with clinical and executive leadership to implement regional strategic plans that optimize facility utility and align real estate with clinical operations.
  • Champion sustainability initiatives by overseeing utility consumption reduction, retro-commissioning, and long-term facility capital planning.

  • At least three (3) years of experience directly managing or leading a team in a corporate or professional environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing Medical Office Buildings (MOBs), ambulatory centers, or other specialized clinical healthcare properties.
  • Proficiency in full-cycle financial management, including budget development, NOI analysis, operating expense control, and performance benchmarking.
  • Strong knowledge of lease structures and deal economics, combined with the ability to influence C-suite/CFO-level leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
