As our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Float Pool, you will serve as a vital member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, providing essential support across various clinical units. You will be the cornerstone of the patient experience, working under the direction of Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality, compassionate care that promotes patient recovery, comfort, and safety in an acute care hospital environment.
Every day you will serve as an advocate for your patients by maintaining their physical well-being and clinical stability. You will be responsible for performing routine monitoring, assisting with complex Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and acting as a flexible, dependable resource for our nursing staff. By maintaining meticulous records and utilizing AIDET principles, you will ensure that every patient interaction reflects our hospital’s commitment to excellence and compassionate, dignified care.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a dedicated spirit of service and the ability to adapt quickly to the unique needs of different hospital units. You must demonstrate strong communication skills, an unwavering attention to detail when reporting changes in patient status, and the physical stamina required to provide consistent, high-level support in a fast-paced medical setting.
