Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Laboratory Technical Coordinator, you will provide technical oversight for designated laboratory sections, ensuring all testing procedures adhere to regulatory standards and established protocols. You will participate in the development and implementation of new test methods, equipment evaluations, and quality control initiatives.

Every day you will troubleshoot complex technical issues, provide expert guidance to medical technologists, and ensure continuous staff competency through training and education. You will also monitor quality assurance programs and assist with internal and external audits, maintaining the laboratory's accreditation status.

To be successful in this role, you will possess an in-depth understanding of laboratory instrumentation, methodologies, and quality systems, coupled with strong problem-solving and leadership skills. You will effectively manage technical projects, communicate complex information clearly, and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the lab.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a chemical or biological science
  • Two (2) years clinical lab experience in the designed lab area/speciality
