As our Cash Posting Analyst, you will be a vital contributor to our healthcare revenue cycle, dedicated to maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our financial data. You will specialize in complex reconciliation processes, specifically focusing on Provider-Level Balancing (PLB) and Full Balance/Write-Off (FB/WO) sequences. By ensuring that payments, adjustments, and denials are perfectly aligned, you will directly influence our organizational cash flow accuracy and overall financial health.

Every day you will perform detailed variance analysis on large data sets, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure our ledgers remain precise. You will engage in proactive outreach with insurance companies and payer representatives to resolve account issues while collaborating closely with our billing, collections, and finance teams. Your workflow will involve managing both manual and 835 remittance formats, supporting month-end close activities, and contributing to ongoing process improvement initiatives that optimize our revenue cycle performance.

• Mastery of Provider-Level Balancing (PLB) and Full Balance/Write-Off (FB/WO) reconciliation processes.
• Expertise in managing complex payer remittance formats, including both manual and 835 electronic posting.
• Advanced skills in variance analysis and the identification of financial discrepancies within large data sets.
• Proven experience in high-volume healthcare environments, specifically within medical billing or payer reimbursement.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to support audits, month-end closing, and revenue cycle projects.
• Strong organizational and quantitative skills with an unwavering focus on data integrity.

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in healthcare business processes (e.g., Patient Financial Services, billing, or collections).
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in managing large data volumes.
• Ability to perform complex account research, payment variance reconciliation, and project-based work independently.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Associates Other Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution or
• 1-3 years minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree and
• Extensive working knowledge of Full Balance/Write-Off (FB/WO) processes, also known as Provider-Level Balancing (PLB), is essential. This includes comprehensive experience in the reconciliation of payments, adjustments, and write-offs at the provider level to ensure complete accuracy and integrity across accounts, ledgers, and financial systems. Mastery of these processes is central to the success in this role. 
• Strong background in the Healthcare Revenue Cycle, with experience in medical billing, payer reimbursement, payer collections, and cash posting operations (both manual and 835). This includes account research, payment variance reconciliation, and working with large volumes of financial data across complex payer remittance formats. and
• Experience in high-volume healthcare environments and familiarity with multiple payer systems and remittance formats is strongly.
