Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.

Every day you will prepare patients for scans, operate advanced MRI equipment, ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment, and accurately capture detailed anatomical images.

To be successful, you will demonstrate expert technical proficiency in MRI, meticulous attention to detail for image quality and safety, and excellent patient communication to ensure a comfortable and effective diagnostic experience.

  • Performs all MRI exams providing images of high quality.
  • Performs special MR imaging techniques for special need patient groups.
  • Understands the use of pulse oximetry, gating devices, power injector and all MRI accessories.
  • Consults with Radiologist for special protocols on special imaging cases.
  • Ensures MRI QC (quality control) is performed on equipment.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Oregon MRI License
  • ARRT Registered Technologist MRI
  • AHA BLS within 30 Days

Preferred

  • Previous MRI Technologist experience
