Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Expeditor, you will handle a wide variety of non-skilled facility-related maintenance and repairs, keeping our spaces safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Every day you will take on tasks such as minor plumbing repairs, pressure washing, painting, and light bulb replacements, while also assisting with tenant or departmental moves. You may drive a Franciscan Health System vehicle to various sites for parts pick-up and to transport equipment between locations.

To be successful in this role you will bring hands-on maintenance skills, reliability, and the flexibility to handle a variety of tasks across different sites.

  • Maintains areas of responsibility in a clean and orderly manner, performing minor interior repairs including, but not limited to, ceiling tile replacements, repair of wall penetrations, and other tasks of similar scope.
  • Performs minor maintenance repairs and installations using hand and power tools, including, but not limited to, plumbing maintenance such as faucet/toilet parts replacement and trap removal and electrical maintenance such as light bulb replacement.
  • Assists in any tenant or departmental relocation of equipment; removal of waste or other items may be required; may transport equipment between FHS facilities.
  • Performs exterior building maintenance to include, but not limited to, litter pick-up, pressure washing, and exterior painting.

  • Any combination of education and Experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities., upon hire
  • Driver's License: WA, upon hire
