Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Department Support Assistant, you will serve as the heartbeat of our facility operations, providing essential clerical support and administrative coordination. In this vital role, you will be the primary point of contact for our office, ensuring that our local department runs efficiently while maintaining a professional environment that reflects our commitment to excellence in healthcare support services.

 

Every day you will manage a variety of operational tasks, including acting as a front-line receptionist, operating a multi-line switchboard, and coordinating conference room schedules and A/V equipment. You will handle sensitive facility security procedures, maintain accurate internal directories, process business correspondence, and utilize technical software to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations to keep our team organized and informed.

 

To be successful in this role, you will possess a high school diploma or GED along with some completed undergraduate coursework, demonstrating a strong ability to follow instructions and analyze data. We are looking for a customer-service-driven professional who excels at multitasking, remains composed under pressure, and demonstrates the initiative to seek guidance when navigating organizational change. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a collaborative spirit will be key to meeting our business goals and supporting our facility’s mission.

Job Requirements

Required

  • High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or
  • High School GED General Studies, upon hire and
  • some undergraduate level coursework completed. , upon hire


Preferred

  • One year of general office, clerical, or business-related experience.
