The Good Samaritan Cancer Center is focused on providing clinical excellence in a healing environment and offers: infusion therapy, radiation therapy, a genetic counselor, a tobacco cessation counselor, nurses, patient navigators, outreach coordinators, an educational library, support groups, a healing garden, educational seminars, and a wide range of clinical trials.
Established by the Sisters of the St. Francis in 1924 CHI Health Good Samaritan is a 268-bed regional referral center in Kearney, Nebraska. At CHI Health Good Samaritan you’ll find an advanced level trauma center that also offers AirCare emergency helicopter transport and an ambulance program providing long distance and local 911 service. Among our many other services are cardiac care including open-heart surgery, a level II neonatal intensive care unit, a nationally accredited cancer center, comprehensive neurosurgery, advanced orthopedic program, and inpatient and outpatient mental health services at our free-standing Richard Young Behavioral Health facility.
As an Infusion Nurse, you will administer intravenous (IV) therapies and medications, ensuring safe and effective patient care delivery.
Every day you will assess needs, manage infusion devices, meticulously prepare and administer medications, educate patients, and monitor for complications.
To be successful, you will demonstrate exceptional clinical assessment, precise technical proficiency, compassionate communication, and adherence to sterile and safety protocols.
