As our Engineer, you will be a journeyman engineer ensuring the proper repair, operation, and maintenance of the facility's physical plant and grounds, reporting to the Director or Manager of Plant Operations.

Every day you will maintain refrigeration systems, HVAC, electrical systems including standby generators and transfer switches, piping and medical gas equipment, and fire alarm devices in good operating condition. You will help management meet regulatory requirements and access secured areas as needed to keep the environment safe and complete repairs.

To be successful in this role, you will bring journeyman-level skills across mechanical, electrical, and building systems, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work independently.

• Inspects the physical plant, all equipment and grounds, including recording temperature, pressure, and voltage readings on equipment and performs building assessments for condition and safety.
• Completes procedures within schedule limits, and provides follow up on deficiencies or problems found while performing procedures.
• Completes routine service calls and works requests within schedule limits.
• Prioritizes work within department scheduling standards and completes the work based on those standards
• Performs maintenance testing and repair to the fire systems and equipment according to all regulatory standards.
• Participates in fire drills.

• Technical School Position related technical training and journeyman trade level status required and Three years or recent facility experience in the operation and maintenance of a physical plant and associated equipment, upon hire and
