Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Physical Therapy Manager, you will help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing so they can function at their best level, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life.

Every day you will perform initial evaluations, develop and update individualized plans of care, and provide a variety of direct treatments. You will be expected to consistently meet patient care productivity standards, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families, and promote a positive customer service environment.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong age-appropriate competency skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.

  • Coordinates and maintains all regulatory compliance for all departments and programs, (e.g., The Joint Commission, CARF, CMS, etc.).
  • Assists the organization in quality improvement efforts.
  • Evaluates performance of staff and programs and establishes goals through patient experience and employee experience survey results.
  • Manages the cost center(s) to meet the productivity standard.
  • Participates in annual budget planning with the Director.
  • Submits monthly/quarterly variance reports on labor management, expenses and productivity as directed.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelors Degree in related therapy field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in related field
  • 2 years Supervisory experience 
  • Physical Therapist: AZ,  or
  • Occupational Therapist: AZ, or
  • Speech Language Pathologist: AZ


Preferred

  • Masters Degree
  • 5 years in a Supervisory role
