Leaders in Specialized Care:
Why SJHMC?
This is an invitation to join a family of dedicated professionals at the forefront of medical innovation, united by the power of humankindness.
As our Manager of Philanthropy, you will play a pivotal role in driving our fundraising initiatives and advancing our mission. You will be responsible for strategically directing development efforts toward meeting individual and organizational revenue goals. By cultivating and deepening relationships with a portfolio of 100–125 donors and prospects, you will build a sustainable base of support and champion our philanthropic vision within the community.
Every day you will research, author, and produce high-quality fundraising collateral, including mini-case statements, compelling proposals, and impact letters. You will provide hands-on leadership to staff and volunteers, recruiting and guiding support groups, councils, and committees to ensure the successful execution of specific revenue initiatives. Through effective data analysis and task coordination, you will ensure our foundation meets its business objectives while maintaining the highest standards of professional excellence and ethical stewardship.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience) and a minimum of three years of proven success in not-for-profit fundraising and development. You should demonstrate exceptional communication skills, the ability to manage complex donor portfolios, and a passion for mission-driven work. We are seeking a collaborative leader who excels in donor stewardship and thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment dedicated to philanthropic growth.
