Today, as Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, we remain deeply committed to healing the whole person – body, mind, and spirit – in the communities we serve. This commitment is strengthened by the diverse expertise and shared values brought together through our growth.
Our dedicated providers offer a full spectrum of health care services, from routine wellness to complex disease management, all grounded in rigorous research and education. Our comprehensive network of 10 hospitals and nearly 300 care sites strategically located across the greater Puget Sound region reflects our ongoing commitment to accessibility and comprehensive care.
We are proud of our pioneering medical advances and numerous awards and accreditations that reflect our dedication to excellence. When you join Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, you become part of a team that delivers top-quality, professional healthcare in modern, well-equipped facilities, and contributes to a legacy of service built on collaboration and shared purpose.
As our Ambulatory RN Clinic, you will be a vital member of our outpatient care team, providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing services in a fast-paced clinic environment. You will play a key role in the direct assessment, coordination, and triage of patient care, serving as a primary point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers. By leveraging your clinical judgment and critical thinking skills, you will ensure that every patient receives compassionate, consistent, and regulatory-compliant care while working within the scope of our Franciscan Medical Group standards.
Every day you will perform a wide variety of essential nursing tasks, including independent wound assessments, diagnostic testing (such as EKG and Spirometry), and the administration of medications, vaccines, and IV fluids. You will manage patient flow, conduct telephone triage using established protocols, and provide essential health education to empower patients in their recovery. Whether you are managing complex wound care, performing point-of-care testing, or ensuring that electronic medical records are updated with precision, you will be the clinical backbone that supports our providers and ensures a seamless, comforting experience for our diverse patient population.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree from an accredited school of nursing and maintain a valid Washington State RN license and BLS-CPR certification. We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong clinical foundation—ideally including experience in a clinic or acute care setting—who possesses excellent time management and communication skills. You must be comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality as you collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare outcomes.
