Objectives will be accomplished through face-to-face meetings with a variety of physicians, clinics, long-term care facilities and other healthcare providers in a specific geographic territory.   Specific work outcomes are focused on: 1) achieving department volume/profitability goals; 2) implementing strategies to increase the volume of referrals from existing referral sources and establish new referral sources; and 3) conducting market assessments and analyzing referral source needs.   Work also includes: 1) coordinating the dissemination of information about FHPC and its services to health care providers by assisting in the development of targeted information pieces which include tactics to increase earlier referrals to hospice; 2) visiting physician offices and facilities to communicate changes in services/programs and to distribute information packets; 3) promoting collaborative relationships with physicians, nurses, long-term care facility administrators, department heads and outside agencies; and 4) summarizing/reporting findings from health care provider interactions. Work involves substantial outreach and field work in establishing and strengthening relationships to facilitate achievement of business goals and in identifying factors/conditions that impact health care providers’ referrals to FHPC for hospice and palliative care services. Provides high-level administrative support services for the Divisional VP or Director of Supply Chain Operations, including managing of calendar/travel, supporting meeting preparation, drafting/proofing documents, and distributing key documents and information. Responsible for assisting and directing visitors, ascertains their needs, and directing callers to the proper person or department. Exercises discretion and independent judgment while performing key job responsibilities.  Essential Key Job Responsibilities - Completes standard administrative processes such as mail processing, filing, faxing, scanning, copying, collating and organizing as needed; may delegate or outsource these functions to others if resources are available - Proactively and independently manages, analyzes (as needed) and coordinates calendars, itineraries, and travel arrangements for leader(s) supported - Prepares for and supports meetings to include scheduling and preparing appropriate meeting space, ordering catering, providing hospitality services to guests, taking minutes, and assisting with materials, presentations, and other resources as requested - Creates and edits documents, spreadsheets, presentations and organizational charts; additionally is able to develop complex documents, spreadsheets and presentations independently on behalf of the leader(s) supported as needed - Proofreads, edits, distributes internal and external communications on behalf of leaders - Runs and distributes standard reports - Submits and codes invoices and expense reports; assists with routing to the appropriate queues for leader approval; approves invoices according to predetermined guidelines - Assists with editing timekeeping records
