Our Surgical Services Leadership team includes a Director, 3 Perioperative Clinical Managers, 2 Perianesthesia Clinical managers, a Sterile Processing Manager and an RN Educator.  Combined, these leaders have over 100 years of nursing and leadership experience and they truly enjoy mentoring and developing staff members.  Orientation for new OR RNs includes a formal six-month long OR residency.  We offer two residencies per year.   Job Summary: Provides care and support to patients under the direction of the physician and/or mid-level provider, specifically related to plastic and cosmetic surgery procedures.  Contributes to the planning and delivery of patient focused care.   Essential Duties: Screens, communicates and responds to patient needs appropriately, under supervision of the practitioner, inform patients of lab results, call in prescriptions to pharmacies and return practitioners’ phone messages.  Addresses patient inquiries regarding plastic or cosmetic procedures within scope of authority.
