Our Medical/Telemetry unit has 38 beds. We have a varied medical/telemetry population of cardiac, sepsis, pneumonia, and diabetic patients. Our RN staff provide primary care and we have an RN to patient ratio of 4-5 to 1. We are most proud of our positive staff and the support that they provide for our patients and staff. Our Med/Tele Department Leadership team is comprised of a two Clinical Managers, and a Unit Based Educator. We offer strong teamwork to support new staff on our unit and provide residency training for new graduates and/or RN's moving into the acute care setting.   Job Summary: As a Med/Tele nurse you will provide nursing care to all patient populations to include chest pain, COPD, CHF, Sepsis, Renal/hepatic and some post surgical. This work includes developing, implementing and assessing the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams and the patient and family.
