Essential Key Job Responsibilities - Operate and monitor 3 high pressure steam boilers in a central power plant. - Operate and monitor all boiler related equipment. - Operate and monitor 2 standalone generators for back up electrical power. - Make required repairs to Power Plant equipment that do not require a licensed contractor. - Document all monitoring and repair activities of the above equipment. - Monitor alarms and make adjustments as needed on Building Automation System (BAS). - Serve as Liaison (field phone calls) for hospital communications regarding urgent physical building needs and emergencies. - Power Plant housekeeping duties, including handling waste (infectious, hazardous, and common). - Other duties as assigned by Manager or Chief Operating Engineer.
