The Registered Nurse functions as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success the practice by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism, and teamwork. Will utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.

The Registered Nurse Advanced functions as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success the practice by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism, and teamwork. Spends 40% or more of time on an annual basis assisting the physician through documentation of specific components of the patient visit and executing specified physician instructions within the framework of the policy and procedures of the Clinic. Will utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families.
- Performs/directs patient care services including, but not limited to, admission interview, accurate documentation and timely patient flow.
- Accompanies the physician into the exam room or is connected remotely by audio for the patient visit documenting in the electronic medical record (EMR) all aspects of care to include chief complaint (CC), history of presenting illness (HPI), physical exam (PE) and patient plan as directed by the physician.
- Works directly with physician to ensure the patient visit is appropriately documented.
Under the supervision of the Care Management Director, the RN-Case Manager coordinates patient care between patients, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team; collects and evaluates information to facilitate care by assuring that admissions, continued stays, and ancillary services are medically necessary, cost-effective, and providing the appropriate setting to qualify for reimbursement.
