Job Summary:   The Application Systems Analyst III provides support for the application development and implementation of medium to high complexity and cross functional program or projects, provides application support for the Accounts Payable user community, and acts as a subject matter expert for the department.  This position performs troubleshooting for high complex hardware, software and system problems for modules or applications in Accounts Payable.   This position will frequently works on multiple projects as a project team member and understands project life cycle and project management methodologies.  While working on cross functional projects, the AP Application Systems Analyst III is responsible to recognize the upstream and downstream effects to Accounts Payable.    The position is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and submitting recommendations to streamline AP operations in a highly automated AP environment that focuses on exception processing utilizing the latest in technology.  This position will act as a liaison between vendors, IT department, and AP team members to identify issues, conduct root cause analysis, and develop/implement permanent solutions.   This position is also responsible for reflecting and promoting the mission and philosophy of Common Spirit Health and its Sponsoring Congregations.   Accountabilities:                                                    ·         Keeps abreast of the full cycle AP process to be able to resolve a wide variety of issues. ·         Responsible for Administration functions of Kofax Software products related to Capture, KTM, KTA and KCS products including, setup, maintenance, and configuration ·         Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software related issues with Kofax Software ·         Work with Local IT and Intel teams to troubleshoot and maintain Server related issues with Kofax Capture and KCS servers ·         Install updates, upgrades, and add-on components necessary for Kofax software support compliance ·         Work with department managers to research new functionality, and process improvements related to Kofax ·         Train end users on Scanning, Validation, Quality Control functions of Kofax ·         Train IT support staff to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve Kofax related issues. ·         Research issues related to Interfaces between Kofax, Lawson, IDS and ImageNow ·         Work with IDS to incorporate new functionality, Interfaces and Data exchanges ·         Research the difficult issues related Identifying missing Invoices ·         Testing of upgrades and new functionality for ImageNow and Lawson software ·         Identify and resolve Lawson software and data related issues ·         Act as the liaison between AP Department and IT department for Enhancements, System updates and changes, and new initiatives ·         Assist Department users by troubleshooting software and desktop PC related issues ·         Assist with all department goals and initiatives     Overall Accountabilities: ·         Keeps informed of changes related to departmental policies and procedures. ·         Maximizes the use of all available resources, productive time, and the time of others. ·         Uses good judgment and seeks the guidance of Manager when needed. ·         Works as a team member, performing duties as needed, even when not assigned, but to ensure the team is reaching goals. ·         Identifies problems and using forward thinking skills to propose solutions. ·         Performs duties independently and with little to no supervision.
