We can’t begin to describe how much we appreciate our Pharmacists, and the Student Pharmacists that join our team. Not only are they responsible for making sure our patients receive their prescribed medication, but they also have to work with those patients and their families on how and when to take them correctly. They sometimes have to get creative. They work for our patients, from reconciling medications from different healthcare professionals to talking to patients about medication discounts and coupons. Did we mention that you will be a part of this experience? From inventory to finances, you will learn every aspect of what it entails to be a Pharmacist. If you are looking for that great opportunity to start your journey within your field of choice, let’s talk.  What you’ll do: - Prepares, fills and distributes unit-dose drugs. Performs medication exchange at the appropriate times to the designated nursing units. - Assists in the preparation of sterile intravenous admixtures which may include chemotherapeutics, cardioplegics, and total parenteral nutrition formulations under pharmacist supervision. - Performs clerical functions such as maintaining the prescription file, answering the telephone and triaging calls. - Maintains adequate levels of drugs, intravenous solutions, and other supplies in the dispensing and admixture areas and records appropriately on the order-book items below minimum level.
