Sets up, calibrates and Maintains settings and alarms on telemetry module. Obtains rhythm strip at beginning of shift, admission and changes labels strip with patient identification, time, lead monitored, PR interval, ST interval, QRS interval - Trouble shoots telemetry equipment, Ensures monitors are functioning properly, ensure telemetry supplies are available. Accounts for telemetry transmitters, Verifies daily telemetry charges. Identifies changes in rate, rhythm, or pattern, notifying RN of these changes. Responds appropriately to emergency situations, runs a continuous EKG strip and notifies appropriate staff
