- Maintains supplies for area, keeping cart properly stocked and neat, organizes areas, records terminal cleaning of dismissals on chart at Nurses’ station, report light bulbs that need replacing, broken or malfunctioning equipment, furniture or other items requiring repair.
- Properly labels and removes infectious waste bags and containers.
- Upon Department Head request will train employees. Will keep Department Head apprised of trainee progress.
- Maintains equipment i.e., carts, vacuums, etc. keeping them clean and in good working order. Reports malfunctioning equipment and items needing repair in a timely manner.
- Participates in replacing sharp containers, transports trash and refuse and removes empty boxes.
- Cross trains and works in Linen Distribution as needed by the department
- Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

Job Summary:
Provides basic and specialty cleaning services to all areas of the hospital, focusing primarily on the operations of heavy mechanical equipment (e.g., scrubbers, buffers, polishers, extractors, wet vacuuming equipment, etc.) used in the cleaning and maintenance of hard and soft (i.e., carpet) flooring surfaces, including stairwells, hallways and public spaces, and/or provides handling, sterilizing, transporting and disposing of bio-hazard waste in accordance with city, county, state and federal regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties:
- Operates heavy-duty industrial equipment to clean and maintain hard and soft flooring surfaces, including stairwells, hallways and public spaces.
- Cleans and monitors assigned equipment to ensure effective operation; identifies need for repair or replacement and notifies immediate supervisor.
- Wears prescribed protective gear (i.e., gloves, goggles) appropriate to assignment and observes and participates in all hospital-required Safety, Risk Management, and Infection Control practices, including hand washing/hand sanitizing protocols.

Job Summary:
The Epic Credentialed Trainer delivers structured education on assigned applications of the CHI Franciscan Epic electronic health record (EHR) system to a diverse audience of End Users. Some of the key responsibilities include: 1) leading instruction and competency testing for the Super Users and End Users, 2) providing tutorial or special audience training, and 3) assisting with sustainment training support for End Users as required. An incumbent is also accountable for maintaining the readiness of training rooms, assembling training materials, generating status reports on training sessions and participating in the quality improvement process.
This position requires successful completion of the Epic credentialing process which includes a 120-hour training program on the application(s), to include “teach back” methodology, successful completion of a teaching presentation before a panel, and successful completion of a Credentialing exam.
Travel is required to other CHI Franciscan sites as needed for meetings and classes.
