Provide specific training of Healthcare Workers and Community, increase access to medication assisted treatment (MAT) for patients, and provide Naloxone training and dissemination.       ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Establishes rapport and develops a therapeutic relationship with patients. Provide brief interventions to patients and/or referrals to appropriate substance use disorder treatments for patients. Therapeutic efforts are primarily directed towards addressing issues related to substance use disorders. This position is integral to maintaining  the Lisbon Health hospital by providing a clean, safe and sanitized environment to ensure comfortable, orderly and satisfying surroundings for the patients, employees, associates and the public. As the EVS Tech, this person may work independently to provide sanitary conditions which help to  prevent the spread of virus, infections and odors. This may include collecting trash, biohazards trash, soiled linen, floor care in all department areas.  In addition,  other tasks may involve exposure to visible blood  and/or bodily fluid contamination or reasonably anticipated blood and/or bodily fluid contamination. Required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving of objects/materials and/or the clean-up of blood, infectious materials, or body fluids containing blood will be followed in accordance with the OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen Standard Infection Control Policies and Procedures, along with Joint Commission Standards. - Performs a variety of cleaning duties (washing walls, doors, vents, fixtures, equipment, mopping, vacuuming, etc) according to specific established cleaning procedures and standards to ensure established standards of cleanliness are maintained. - Uses appropriate cleaning solutions for designated areas and equipment. - Areas assigned are cleaned within established time constraints. - Cleaning schedule is adjusted to accommodate needs of assigned areas. - Isolation rooms and O.R. are cleaned per policy to ensure an aseptic environment. - Cleans patient rooms after use, strips the bed linen, disinfect bed, night stands, over bed tables, etc. and remake beds to ready for next patient. - Collects waste from all areas of the facility.
