Assists with catering functions as requested.   ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  - Receives and records information regarding patient admissions, discharges, transfers, and diet changes. - Maintains and updates patient records for each meal. - Effectively interacts with Nursing staff, patients and their families. - Demonstrates thorough knowledge of therapeutic diets and diet modification. - Prepares food following standardized recipes. - Follows pre-determined portion when serving food. - Sets up and monitors food bar. - Operates cash register/debit computer system. - Complies with all sanitation standards. - Cooperates with others and works as a team member. - Completes special jobs as assigned by the Supervisor.
