The work requires attention to detail, excellent customer services skills, knowledge of technical nomenclature relating to supplies.   Essential Job Functions - Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed. - Utilizes tracking system data as appropriate to successfully execute above processes. - Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas, while monitoring par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care. - Responsible for the intake process, and verifying delivery of required supplies for completeness/quality of their contents. - Identifies excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits. - Notifies supervisor of outdated or slow moving inventory. - Makes visual inventory inspections to maintain adequate stock and supply levels; stores new and processed equipment and supplies. - Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items; issues and credits materials from the inventory management system. - Responsible for maintaining clean and orderly stock locations, and labeling bins and handling requests to change pars. - Acts as liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management as needed. - Works with and follows instructions of buyers and department management in the event of recalls to pull relevant products.
